These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Greenfield platform ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to the Greenfield application and all associated services.
  • "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Service.
  • "Content" refers to all data, information, and materials uploaded or created within the Service.
  • "Admin" refers to the organisation's designated administrator who manages user access.

2. Account Access

Access to the Service is by invitation only. Users are assigned a role that determines their level of access. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Upload or share personal data without a lawful basis under UK GDPR.
  • Attempt to access data or features beyond your assigned role's permissions.
  • Share your login credentials with other individuals.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited marketing communications to contacts who have opted out.
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content.
  • Scrape, export, or bulk-copy data in violation of data protection laws.

4. User Roles and Responsibilities

Users are assigned one of the following roles, each with specific permissions:

  • Main Admin — Full platform access including user management and configuration.
  • Admin — Team-level management and data import capabilities.
  • User — Day-to-day CRM activities on own data.
  • Partner — Access to the Partner Portal only.
  • AWS Access / AWS Manager — Vendor-side dashboards and co-sell visibility.

5. Data Protection

You are responsible for ensuring that all personal data uploaded to the Service is collected and processed in compliance with UK GDPR. This includes obtaining necessary consents from contacts before importing their data. You must respect opt-out requests and refrain from contacting individuals who have opted out of communications.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Greenfield and are protected by intellectual property laws. Content uploaded by users remains the property of the respective organisation.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service disruptions caused by factors beyond our control.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these Terms. Organisations may request account termination at any time. Upon termination, data will be retained in accordance with our data retention policy and then securely deleted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Greenfield shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
